A Hamas official has told Sky News it is "not true" progress has been made in peace talks with Israel.
US President Joe Biden said earlier Saturday a peace deal was "closer than we have ever been" following talks this week.
But Hamas told Sky News special correspondent Alex Crawford the comments were aimed at keeping the "Axis of Resistance calm and to stop it responding to the assassinations and not slip into a regional war".
