Held every 12 years, the Maha Kumbh mela has begun in India.
It’s the most sacred pilgrimage and is expected to draw in an estimated 400 million Hindu pilgrims over the next 45 days.
Sky’s India correspondent Neville Lazarus gave an update from the city of Prayagraj, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, where the mela has kicked off.
