Sir Keir Starmer is giving a major speech on AI this morning.
The prime minister is expected to say that he wants the UK to become the world leader in artificial intelligence, promising to create special zones for data centres and encouraging more graduates to study technology-focused courses.
Britain is the third-largest AI market in the world behind the US and China, when measured by indicators such as investment and patents, according to Stanford University.
