The Los Angeles Fire Chief has told Sky News that emergency workers are "absolutely better prepared" for dangerous winds in the coming days.
It comes as forecasters warn of potentially "explosive growth" to the fires that could cause even more destruction as Sky’s Jayne Secker reports.
