• Federal student aid reform will help address this. Not all degrees have economic viability in society, yet the government will still loan you $$$. If you took loans out for one of these degrees, the chances of getting a good job to pay off are low. There’s a solution to this though. The government can perform ‘economic viability studies’ They look at “what will tomorrows society demand skills in”? Then, they provide more/less federal aid, based on that degrees forecasted value upon graduation. Is it perfect? No. Will it limit people from gender studies degrees w/$100k debt? Yes.  Driftless
• When I was a wee kid, “words” were actually an endearment. If a kid would call you a nasty name, it began a friendship. As we aged, we could be brutally honest.
