Sir Keir Starmer has hit back after farmers angry at the government’s inheritance tax plans staged a noisy protest at a housing site he was visiting.
Speaking after he was forced to abandon the visit, the prime minister said it’s time to end "tax breaks for farmers" to fund other priorities like the NHS.
He also defended his chancellor after allegations she was involved in an expenses scandal.
