The Vatican says Pope Francis is in a critical condition after suffering a prolonged respiratory crisis.
The 88 year old was hospitalized a week ago, suffering from double pneumonia. He’s been given extra oxygen as well as blood transfusions. The Vatican says the pontiff is alert, but doctors are ‘guarded’.
