Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Pat McFadden speaks to Sky’s Wilfred Frost.
He is first asked about the outbreak of violence in the Middle East overnight, with Israel resuming deadly strikes on Gaza.
McFadden says the government will "use whatever diplomatic evidence we have to try to get that ceasefire restored as soon as possible".
He is also asked about the government’s planned welfare reforms.
McFadden says the cabinet "is definitely united" behind the plans to deal with the "problem of a welfare system" that has seen a lot of people going onto long-term sickness and disability benefits.
