Heathrow now fully operational, but working out delays will still take days | DW News

Britain’s Heathrow Airport says it is fully operational again — one day after thousands of travelers were stranded due to a power outage.

Flights are operating, but it’s expected to take days for schedules to return to normal. Restrictions on night flights have been eased to help deal with the backlog. Europe’s busiest airport was forced to shut down on Friday – after a huge fire broke out at a nearby substation that supplies it with electricity.
