US President Donald Trump has held separate phone calls with his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts. The call with Vladimir Putin lasted more than two hours. Trump has expressed frustration in trying to solve Europe’s worst conflict since World War Two, after promising to end it on day one of his presidency. Craig Boswell reports from Washington DC.
