Ukraine is calling for a face-to-face meeting between President Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin.
The proposal was made as delegations from both sides met in Istanbul for a second round of talks aimed at reaching a ceasefire deal.
Both sides have agreed another round of prisoner swaps while Russia has proposed a short ceasefire in certain locations.
