So, I guess, that’s correct. But I think that we can take the ‘We don’t know,’ it was very severe. It was obliteration,” Trump told reporters at the NATO summit.

The Middle East, particularly the U.S.-brokered Israel-Iran ceasefire (announced hours before the summit but quickly strained), also overshadowed the agenda. Some allies, like Spain, resisted the 5% spending target, calling it “unreasonable,” while others, like Poland, embraced it, citing the Russian threat.
Trump’s interactions included bilateral meetings, though specific leaders met were not detailed, and a breakfast with Dutch King Willem-Alexander. The summit was tightly choreographed to avoid diplomatic blowups, with European leaders wary of Trump’s unpredictability and his focus on an “America First” approach.
