- “It’s not overtly woke.” Tim…… there are two trans characters, the only white male is a simp singing along to Alana Morisette, the main character starts a life of crime minutes after leaving her 4 year long government paid internship at MIT. So no….. no Tim, this is hideously woke
- I also don’t like the narrative that Tony Stark is only who he is because he is rich. He built a miniature arc reactor in a cave with a box of scraps. His ability to invent allowed him riches, it wasn’t his riches that allowed him the ability to invent.
- Tim dont say it isnt overtly woke when they race swapped more than half of the main cast of characters from their original appearances to more “diverse” ones.
- Poorly acted, unoriginal, uninspired, forgettable/unlikable characters, disrespect to legacy characters. It’s exactly what I’ve come to expect from Disney Marvel.
- At this point- them saying people who don’t like bad shows are “racist” or whatever, is just a circle jerk. The masses don’t like bad shows. Period. The name calling is not working like it used to. Write a good show without preaching your religion and we’ll come back. Until then, just keep telling each other what you want to hear to console your failures. - New Marvel tried to force IronHeart on the fans in her poor selling comics that nobody liked or wanted. She’s a terrible unlikeable character, but just like Ms Marvel, they pushed a character that was failing in the comics thinking they would do better in live action. But if no true Marvel fans likes these characters in the comics, why do they think the show will work?
- This show was made for the modern audience. Where are all the women, lgbt, minorities viewers? Why the hell do men and white guys especially need to subsidize your dei slop? Clearly they haven’t scaled to the reality of their customer base and substantially overstate how many have interest Among their own ideology.
- If you’re nothing without this suit then you shouldn’t have it. Another example of why the writers of Ironheart missed the point entirely… Riris entire motivation is money for her suit, at the cost of her morals and others lives.
- I’m struggling to get through Ironheart. It’s so fucking awful…the review is already long & I’m only 6 minutes in. I’m going to have to make this a multi-part review. As bad as this shit is, I may have to make reviewing this my new career. I’ll have something out soon
