Heatwave-driven wildfires sweep Türkiye, Greece, and Spain

Ongoing heatwaves have triggered wildfires across Türkiye, Greece, and Spain, causing deaths, mass evacuations, and severe damage to homes and farmland.
In Türkiye’s Izmir, 50,000 were evacuated while Crete saw major destruction and in Spain’s Catalonia, 14,000 were told to stay indoors, with risks expected to continue into July. Daniel Padwick has the story.
