Several incidents involving small boats have been reported in the English Channel.
HM Coastguard said it was co-ordinating a response to "multiple incidents involving small boats" over the last two days and migrants were seen disembarking from rescue boats in Dover.
It comes after the UK and France announced new plans to deter illegal migration.
