Officials from the UK, France and Germany are preparing to meet on Friday with their Iranian counterparts for talks on Tehran’s nuclear programme. The gathering in Istanbul follows warnings from all three European nations that failure to resume negotiations would lead to sanctions on Iran being reimposed.
