An American doctor working in one of Gaza’s biggest hospitals has urged Donald Trump’s special envoy to the region to visit his wards.
Dr Tom Adamkiewicz said he wanted to meet Steve Witkoff and the US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckerbee, and "show them a few things".
The paediatrician told Sky News Gazan children there were suffering "extremely severe malnutrition", were collapsing while they were walking because of a lack of food, and his colleagues "had not eaten for days".
He also told Mark Austin that when young boys try to get food from aid hubs for their families, "they get shot at".
Steve Witkoff is in Israel to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
