More and more countries are announcing plans to recognise the state of Palestine in September, with the UK and Canada among the latest. But despite diplomatic efforts to pressure Israel to reconsider the humanitarian crisis on the ground, Gazans continue to starve as tonnes of aid remain out of reach behind sealed borders.
Meanwhile, the fight continues for those speaking out for Palestinian rights, namely the activist group Palestine Action. On Wednesday, the UK High Court ruled that the group may challenge the government’s decision to label them a terrorist organisation. The court has allowed their case to proceed to a judicial review.
