Former defence secretary Ben Wallace has told Sky News that Vladimir Putin was the big winner after the summit in Alaska.
He said: "Putin got all the points out of it. Putin got the red carpet treatment, he effectively got an American warm handshake coming out of the cold.
"This is a man who is already indicted in 100 countries and was probably laughing all the way home."
