High Court ruling is ‘an important step forward for Epping’, says councillor

The Bell Hotel has to stop housing asylum seekers by 12 September after Epping Forest District Council argued it was not being used for its intended purpose as a hotel.

Epping Forest District council, councillor Chris Whitbread commented on the High Court ruling, he said it ‘is not a victory today, this is a ruling for common sense’.
