US President Donald Trump has now threatened to deploy the National Guard to Chicago to crack down on crime. However, critics argue that he’s attempting to intimidate cities governed by Democrats. Courts have so far issued mixed rulings on whether Trump has the authority to deploy federal troops to fight crime. And it’s proving to be another dividing line for many Americans.
