Living with a death sentence: Woman implanted with cadaver tissue in childhood surgery

When Natalie Bralee-Brett was three, doctors used tissue from a dead body in an NHS operation they believed would save her life.

Nearly 40 years later, that same graft has left her with an incurable brain disease — and a death sentence.

Sky’s Ashish Joshi has been following Natalie’s case for more than a year and has spoken to experts around the world to try and help Natalie find the answers she wants.
