Following a key meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Donald Trump in September, Türkiye took on a more active role in the Gaza ceasefire process. Turkish officials joined negotiations with the US, Qatar, and Egypt, playing a key part in securing and implementing the ceasefire.
Ankara is also supporting reconstruction efforts and acting as part of a mediation team. Andrew Hopkins reports from Ankara.
