The Syrian government and the SDF have agreed to an immediate ceasefire to end the fighting between the army and the YPG terror group. The agreement will also see the SDF integrated into Syria’s military and state institutions. Damascus now has full control of the oil-rich northeastern provinces of Raqqa, Hasakah and Deir Ezzor. President Ahmed Alsharaa says all Syrians must now focus on rebuilding the country. Martyn Andrews reports.
