What’s behind US President Donald Trump’s peacemaking efforts? | DW News

A text message written by Trump to Norway’s prime minister and made public on Monday links the president’s failure to receive the Nobel Peace Prize — which is administered by a committee in Norway — to his harder line on Greenland. Trump wrote that he was no longer obliged to think of peace. A big shift for someone who has cloaked himself in the mantle of a peacemaker.
