Russia launched air strikes on Ukraine’s two largest cities, Kiev and Kharkiv, killing at least one person and injuring dozens, Ukrainian officials said, as US-brokered peace talks entered a second day in Abu Dhabi.
Authorities reported fires across residential areas, damage to hospitals, and major power outages, with more than one million people left without electricity in Kiev and northern regions.
