Phase two of Donald Trump’s peace plan is supposed to shift the focus to governance and rebuilding.
And then there’s the huge reconstruction challenge, plans for a new Gaza were unveiled last week showing skyscrapers and areas for "coastal tourism".
Hamas says it will not commit to completely laying down arms unless there are serious talks for Palestinian statehood.
UNICEF spokesperson Tess Ingram told Sky News families in Gaza are still struggling since the ceasefire, “it’s going to take a really long time for Gaza to get back to some sense of normal".
“We really need more permanent solutions” she says. “Not only do we need the volume of aid to be sustained and increased, but we need different kinds of aid to come in. Like more semi-permanent housing for people so they don’t have to face a fourth winter in a tent.”
