After nearly two decades of negotiations, the European Union and India have signed what leaders are calling the ‘mother’ of all trade deals. The deal will slash tariffs on the vast majority of goods, create a market of nearly two billion people, and strengthen supply chains and strategic ties at a time of growing global trade tensions.
