To hit US President Donald Trump’s target of deporting 1 million people a year, ICE has been running campaigns on social media using controversial tactics and wartime-like recruitment posters. The agency has also halved training times to hire thousands of new staff. The move is funded by Trump’s "Big Beautiful Bill" with a multi-billion-dollar budget allocated to ICE over the next four years.
