The former UK ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
It follows allegations made in emails released by the US Justice Department in relation to Jeffrey Epstein.
Mandelson was arrested by the Metropolitan Police at an address in Camden and taken to a London police station for interview.
He has previously denied any wrongdoing.
