A campaign to help people struggling with thoughts of taking their own life has reached a new milestone.
The 100th suicide prevention bench has been unveiled by charity ‘Legend on the Bench’ – each carrying details on how to access immediate support.
The mission was started by Michelle Mead the sister of former Tottenham Spurs player Micky Hazard, after the death of her son.
Anyone feeling emotionally distressed or suicidal can call Samaritans for help on 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org in the UK.
