Muslims gathered at Ayasofya Mosque in Istanbul for a Tarawih prayer as they enter the last ten days of Ramadan, which are believed to be the most important part of the holy month. Imams and reciters sang the Farewell to Ramadan hymns, often called ‘Elveda’, emotional poems recited after the final Tarawih prayers to say goodbye to the holy month and seek forgiveness.
