On Monday, several Iranian and Lebanese mothers—both Christian and Muslim—buried their sons, killed by US-Israel strikes.
In southern Lebanon’s Ain Ebel, a Christian village near the Israeli border, Suad Jallad buried her 22-year-old son. He was killed by an Israeli strike while attempting to repair an internet connection on a roof, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency.
In Tehran, Marzia Rezaei mourned her 23-year-old son, Erfan Shamei, who died in a blast at a military training camp just days before he was due to return home on leave.
