Iran has sent its response to a US proposal aimed at ending the war in the Middle East. It’s been conveyed to Washington via Pakistani mediators although the details are yet to emerge. Iran has threatened to target US sites in the region if its tankers come under fire, and says any vessels from countries complying with US sanctions will face difficulties crossing the Strait of Hormuz.
