Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo reaffirmed Mexico’s support for Palestinian statehood, saying “every support should be given” for Palestine to be fully recognised as a state.
Speaking in Mexico City on May 8, Sheinbaum said Mexico has consistently opposed “the genocide in Gaza” and highlighted her government’s recognition of the first Palestinian ambassador to Mexico.
