Dozens of boats set sail from Türkiye on Thursday, aiming to break the blockade on Gaza and deliver aid to the enclave.
54 humanitarian vessels carrying nearly 500 activists from 45 countries departed from the district of Marmaris after undergoing technical maintenance and resupply following Israel’s piracy assault in international waters, organisers said.
“The blockade is still in place and nothing has changed. It is very important that what is happening around the world is preventing us from seeing Gaza as it is.
The blockade is still on. The aid is not getting in,” said Susan Abdallah, a member of the flotilla’s steering committee
