A senior Hamas commander, Izz al-Din al-Haddad, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City, where mourners gathered for his funeral amid renewed violence despite a ceasefire agreement. Residents say Israeli strikes continue daily, as Gaza faces massive destruction, with more than 72,000 Palestinians reported killed and nearly two million people displaced since the war began.
