Jerusalem’s Latin Patriarch Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa and Greek Orthodox Patriarch Theophilos III visited Gaza City on a pastoral trip to support the besieged Palestinian territory’s small Christian community and the wider population. The visit comes as Gaza’s dwindling Christian community of around 1,000 people, alongside the rest of the population, faces forced displacement, harassment and insecurity from the ongoing Israeli occupation.
