A puppy was rescued from the rubble of a collapsed building in Caracas after Venezuela was hit by back-to-back earthquakes on June 24. The Caracas Fire Department has taken the puppy into its care. The 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes killed over 235 people and injured thousands more, causing massive destruction across the country.
