German police forcibly removed and detained pro-Palestinian activists protesting outside a Rheinmetall facility in Berlin over the company’s production of ammunition for Israel.
More than 30 activists from the group Peacefully Against Genocide attempted a sit-in near the company’s plant before officers dragged them off the road, and made arrests.
Germany supplies around one-third of Israel’s arms imports, making it its largest European arms supplier.
