The US military says it carried out a new wave of overnight strikes on Iranian military sites along the country’s southern coast, targeting missile, drone, and coastal defence systems, according to US Central Command. CENTCOM said the operation aimed to further reduce Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping, with strikes reported in Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Jask, Chabahar, Konarak, and Abu Musa. The latest attacks mark the third consecutive night of US strikes on Iran.
