Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan the Second Class Order of Merit during his visit to Kiev. The state decoration recognises Fidan’s contribution to strengthening bilateral relations and interstate cooperation between Ukraine and Türkiye. The Order of Merit is one of Ukraine’s highest state honours and is awarded to both Ukrainian citizens and foreign nationals for exceptional service in diplomacy.
