The protests follow demonstrations a few weeks ago about previous exam irregularities that led to the resignation of India’s education minister and an apology from the prime minister himself. But young middle class Indians still feel marginalised and discriminated against when it comes to jobs in the federal government. That feeling is now spreading to other parts of India.
