A magnitude 5 earthquake struck the southern Spanish city of Granada in the early hours of August 15, damaging buildings and cars.
The quake hit the Alhendin metropolitan area shortly after 1 am local time. Footage from the aftermath showed rubble in the streets, damage to a church tower and a wrecked car.
