Gambian trafficking survivor helps others avoid exploitation

Human trafficking remains one of the world’s fastest-growing forms of organised crime, with many victims lured by false promises of work and a better life. In The Gambia, Amie Jobe is one survivors. She says she was trafficked to Egypt after accepting what she believed was a genuine job offer. Now back home, she’s helping others to avoid the same ordeal. Maimuna Bah reports from Banjul.
