Hundreds of illegal Israeli settlers, escorted by Israeli forces, stormed Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus, occupied West Bank, to perform rituals at the funerary monument. Dozens of military vehicles and a bulldozer were deployed, roads leading to the site were closed, and journalists were reportedly dispersed with tear gas. The incursion comes amid an alarming escalation of violent activity by Israeli forces and illegal settlers against Palestinians in occupied West Bank. Local authorities say more than 1,100 Palestinians have been killed since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza.
