US Marines have been deployed to Guantanamo Bay to reinforce migrant removal operations under President Donald Trump’s directive.
The Trump administration plans to expand the detention facility to hold up to 30,000 people, with transfers expected to begin within 30 days, according to White House ‘border czar’ Tom Homan.
