Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Fox News on 21 July that Tehran intends to negotiate with the US for a “win-win” outcome: one that secures the continuation of Iran’s civilian nuclear programme alongside the removal of US sanctions against the Iranian people.
He later made a point of clarifying “death to America” chant, stating that the slogan is aimed at “the hegemonic policies of the United States, not the people of the United States.”
