Tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan have disrupted cross-border trade, and led to shortages and soaring prices in Pakistani markets. Officials from both countries are now set to hold talks in Istanbul, mediated by Türkiye and Qatar, to consolidate their ceasefire agreement and prevent further border clashes.
