In Gaza, Mahmoud Abu Nabhan continues to search with his bare hands for the bodies of his family buried under the rubble of his home. He has managed to recover seven, while eight others remain trapped beneath the debris, as civil defence crews have been unable to reach them. According to the Palestinian Civil Defence and the Ministry of Health, approximately 20,000 people remain trapped under the rubble, many of them children, women, and the elderly.
Meanwhile, the International Committee of the Red Cross is making efforts to locate the body of an Israeli officer, while limited heavy machinery, authorised by the Israeli army, has entered Gaza to find remains of Israeli hostages in coordination with Egypt.
